Why is it called Resibow?+
Resibo is Filipino for receipt. Bow is what you tie when you wrap something up — your quarter, your tax filing, that pile of crumpled receipts in your bag. Resibow = wrap your resibos up.
Will this help me pay less tax?+
If you're a freelancer, professional, or small biz owner on graduated/itemized deductions (1701) — yes. Tracked receipts = legitimate deductible expenses = lower taxable income. If you're a regular salaried employee, PH tax law (TRAIN) doesn't allow deductions against compensation income. We can't change that — but we can still help you budget.
How is this different from Taxumo / JuanTax / Beppo?+
They file your taxes for you (₱10,000+/year). We don't. We're upstream — we capture receipts, calculate what you owe, and prep your numbers. If you want a human to handle filing entirely, use them. If you'd rather save ₱9k/year and stay in control, use us.
Will this help with BIR filing?+
Today: clean CSV export your accountant or Taxumo/JuanTax can use directly. Coming soon: 1701Q-ready quarterly summary with deductible categorization. We're not replacing your CPA — we're making sure your numbers are ready when they ask.
I have a regular job AND I freelance on the side — does this help?+
Yes. You file 1701-MI (mixed income) and you can deduct expenses against the freelance portion. Track those side-gig receipts here, hand the export to your CPA at year-end.
Can I pay with GCash / Maya?+
Card and Stripe Link for now. GCash + Maya support is on the roadmap (PayMongo integration). Free tier means you can start without paying anything.
Why so many tiers?+
Because solo freelancers don't all spend the same. Free for trying it. $1/mo for casual users. $9/mo for real volume. $29.99 once if you want to pay and forget. Pick what fits.
